Reminder KS

More often than not, the computer acts as both an entertainment or work tool and an organizer for our daily lives. Keeping track of meetings, birthdays, appointments and other such events using an application is habitual and having pinned notes or reminders on the desktop is common. Reminder KS is an application that can store custom reminders, displaying the text on the screen and speaking it out loud for you.

Once installed, the application places a small button in the upper left corner of the desktop, which in fact is the gateway to all the reminders and the application’s settings and options. The intention of the development team is surely not to have Reminder KS interfere with your work or take too much of the workspace.

Clicking on the button reveals a menu that allows you to access the custom reminder texts and the built-in reminder editor. The list of reminders allows you to view your notes in a simple window alongside a calendar to show you the current date and the upcoming events.

While the editor can be launched from the main menu directly, you can also choose to edit the notes from the Reminders window.

The editor makes it possible to customize the messages displayed on the desktop, their time and their frequency. Reminders can be deleted, edited or changed as well, and new alerts can be configured and added to the list.

Not just that Reminder KS can display custom reminders on the screen, but it can also say them out loud, which comes in handy when you are away from the PC. While the appearance of the interface and the feature set are quite rudimentary, the application does its job as promised.
