Simple Journal is exactly what the name says, a journal. Whether you'd like to keep tabs on how every day works out for you or avoid forgetting important events or chores, this app could come in handy for a multitude of scenarios, from the more simple and functional to the challenging and gossipy ones.

Regardless of the reason you'd like to keep a journal, it's always simpler to write on your machine than in a physical notebook, which you'd have to physically carry with you all the time.

This application is a mix of your average calendar and notepad programs. The app itself also includes a variety of tools to aid you in your attempt to clear your thoughts as organized as possible. You can add a bold and italic effect, underline certain words, strike items you don't like with a thin line, or add bullets or numbers to lists you might encounter on the way.

At the same time, on the left side of the app's main writing area, you will discover there is a calendar. It will indicate the appropriate day, thus allowing you to backtrack on any of your previous notes. You can import or export any of your written documents, thus allowing you to carry your thoughts anywhere you go.

Once you've managed to deal with all of your ideas and thoughts, you will have created lots of content. To sift through it, the application includes a search function, helpful in situations where you'd like to check some previous ideas in order to connect them with what you are currently writing.

Simple Journal is a great choice for individuals looking to take some notes, write down ideas or simply unload the heavy emotions acquired during a day. It does not include any pestering advertisements or other types of notifications.
