Once installed, users can easily interact with the app via its dedicated system tray icon for those with mouse-based workflows who have already built the muscle memory of flicking their cursor to the bottom right corner of the screen. Alternatively, one can set a custom combination of keys to suit keyboard-focused usage patterns.

When initialized, the program greets users to an accessible interface boasting an elegant and minimalistic design that changes to a dark theme for a more comfortable nighttime viewing experience in synchronization with the operating system.

In terms of layout, the left side of the pop-up window features a toggle between a vertical and horizontal scrollable timeline that displays the current day’s schedule according to the users’ preferences. Clicking on an event triggers a built-in editor where one can add private notes for describing the context and your role in eventual meetings with teammates for organizing future projects.

Meetings can be previewed on the right side with an approximate estimation of the time left until the notification reminder pops up, letting users glance at their schedule without having to open a browser window with the respective calendar layout. One can add custom to-do lists within the app to avoid forgetting what needs to be done in preparation for the events.

Apart from the ability to customize the exact time at which dedicated notifications appear on the screen along with custom chimes to alert you when you are away from your desk, Superpowered also gives users a helping hand through special workflows that send automated emails and direct messages to guests to avoid manually communicating with each person to let them know something changed in the schedule.

Finally, there is some room for improvement in terms of user interaction with the interface. Specifically, while the app window can be resized, the sections inside it do not stretch out to fill the available space. The editor section cannot be resized vertically to avoid taking up the entire upper part of the screen, nor can it be dragged around to fit users’ various usage patterns.
