Umbrella Note

Umbrella Note is an application designed to help you keep all your notes organized in one location or even create journals about various events in your life.

After a swift and uneventful setup, the program prompts you to start your first journal by providing a name and the location where you prefer the data to be stored. Afterwards, you can create a new notebook by specifying a title and a description. While the tool comes with several covers for the notebooks, unfortunately, it does not enable you to add a custom one.

To make navigation smoother, the program supports keyboard shortcuts, so do not hesitate the check out the notebook in case you are having troubles getting around. Although it lacks numerous settings for the time being, the developer has planned to include a smart text editor in the future releases.

It is worth mentioning that the application allows you keep the notes synchronized across various cloud services, namely One Drive, DropBox and Google Drive. Assuming that you have either of them installed on your system already, all you need to do is the application's folder to the cloud service's settings.

On the other hand, the app does not support pictures, an option that can come in handy when you are putting together an album about a vacation or a certain event, for instance. Perhaps this is an option that is going to be implemented in the near future.

Despite the fact that the tool enables you to write or paste notes alone, it does this job quite well.
