Visual Outliner

At the beginning of any essay, presentation or any type of project, you need to first organize your ideas and decide which ones are the most useful and relevant. However, Visual Outliner makes it possible for you to keep all these ideas within reach, even after you have already started your work.

The application is designed to be used by both novices and experts, so its familiar and user-friendly GUI is meant to encourage beginners to focus on their document, rather that waste time discovering app features.

By default, a sample file is opened, so you can experiment with it and find all the functions that are useful in your work. For example, you can expand or collapse all paragraphs with a single mouse click, or shift entire rows left or right.

You can also add random ideas to the Bucket and include them in your document at a later time, meaning you do not need to choose on the spot which of those thoughts are useful or not.

A very handy aspect of Visual Outliner is that you can hide all the secondary panels whenever you want to focus on your text, so nothing else distracts you.

You can remove even more distractions by using solely hard-coded hotkeys for all the operations you want to perform. Granted, you might need to take some time to learn them all, yet once you do, you will be able to work faster and be more efficient in the long run.

Visual Outliner can prove to be a useful tool when it comes to brainstorming ideas and integrating them within your project at a later time. You can even use color highlights to mark the paragraphs that are important or add links to data you access on a regular basis, be they hyperlinks, files or folders.
