gTasks HD for Windows 10/8.1

gTasks HD for Windows 10/8.1 is an intuitive and easy-to-use application designed to provide a simple and uncomplicated method to add and handle daily activities, personal or work tasks, and arrange them in the desired order.

The setup is completed through the Store, the app doesn't take to much space on the hard drive, nor leaves any traces after removal. It's wrapped in a modern and self-explanatory layout showing the categories on the left side of the window, while on the right are either all the contained tasks or the required fields.

A big plus compared to other similar tools, is the choice to sync the data with either Microsoft or Google accounts, making it easier to retrieve the items. The groups are structured in two areas, home and work chores, and organized based on the date and completion level. You can add new lists to the panel.

When making a new record, you have to fill in the title, due date, recurrence (daily, weekly, monthly), the interval, reminder time, optional notes, and the group it corresponds to. Above them, you have the option to order them by date, title, or manually, by dragging and dropping them. To finish an activity, simply mark the circle next to it, which makes it be grayed out, and added to the completed list.

From the settings, you can disable three functions, such as auto sync, reminder, and the live tile default. Sadly, there isn't an option to change the interface color and font, or choose the alarm sound.

The bottom line is that gTasks HD is a reliable and accessible program that comes in handy for those who like to create tasks to efficiently manage their activity, and arrange them in a custom list for an easier search. It also features sync with Microsoft and Google accounts.
