VoipCheapCom is a small Windows application that provides VoIP capabilities for helping you make Internet phone calls.

When you run the utility for the first time, you are offered step-by-step assistance throughout the configuration process.

Creating an account can be done directly from the configuration wizard by providing details about the username, password, email address, phone number and country. You may log in automatically when the program starts.

What’s more, you can test your bandwidth (upload and download speed), configure audio devices (select the speakers or headset, ringing device and microphone, record the audio streams), as well as make a free test call.

You are welcomed by a multi-tabbed layout that offers a fast solution for switching between the key features of the program, such as Start, Contacts, Dialpad, Phone2Phone, SMS and History.

VoipCheapCom displays all your contacts and info about your credit. You may type a username or enter a phone number in order to initiate a call, adjust the volume, keep an eye on your Internet connection signal during a phone call, use the dialpad for inserting phone numbers, and change your status (e.g. Online, Away, Busy).

You can find a contact by name or number, view a list with most used contacts, as well as add a VoipCheapCom user by entering the email address, login or full name and add a contact by specifying the phone number and details about the email address, city, name and company.

You can search for contacts in the VoipCheapCom database by email address, login name or full name and apply filters such as country, state, city, gender and age range.

You may send contacts to another contact, archive contacts by exporting data to VCF or VCC file format, as well as import contacts from Windows Live Messenger, Skype or Outlook.

The app lets you send scheduled messages at a custom date and time by specifying the phone number and entering the message right in the main panel. You can check out a list with all history calls and active calls.

You may change the password of your account, clear history, sign out and forget the password, change your status to Away or Not Available when you are inactive for a custom number of minutes, allow calls and chats from anyone or only people from your Contacts list, and keep a chat history.

VoipCheapCom may show notifications when contacts come online and make phone calls, and lets you alter the sound devices, enable and reassign hotkeys, run the utility at Windows startup, forward calls, and allow incoming calls when you talk to someone else.
