CleverClients is a free tool that serves as both a database for your customers and as an appointment organizer. The app is best suited for businesses where the employees go directly to a customer’s premises (such as a cleaning service, a renovation service, or a pest exterminator) or for those who receive customers on their premises on a daily basis via appointment (beauty salons, psychologists, notaries, etc.).

Although the program offers plenty of features, the interface can be considered minimalistic. Getting used to it may require a bit of patience, but thankfully CleverClients comes with a manual and even a few demos that showcase its capabilities. You may even get a chuckle while checking out the demos when you realize that the developers have added Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, Donald Duck, and plenty of other fictional characters as clients.

When adding customers, there are a lot of fields to fill in, including name, phone number, email, address, occupation, marital status, references, and memos. Appointments are scheduled with just one click, and can then be viewed in the timesheet section.

Although CleverClients runs on a very simple principle, you’ll probably spend a lot of time customizing it to your needs, by adding and removing sections. Nevertheless, it has a lot more features than you’d expect from a free app.
