ClaroCapture

When working on a presentation for work or for school, having a specialized software solution on your computer can make a  difference. ClaroCapture is one such utility, as it can help you create complex presentations with little effort.

The application comes with an intuitive interface, as each of its functions is easily accessible. However, the best way to discover its strengths is to experiment with its features by capturing data from various sources on your computer (local files, desktop, websites, Word documents etc).

You can start by capturing text from the websites you are visiting, from your documents or from the clipboard - the fragment you copied is displayed within the main window along with the date.

A nifty function of ClaroCapture is that it can extract text from Microsoft Word documents that you have previously highlighted in different colors, then group the respective highlighted sections together, depending on the color. It can also be used to create an automatic bibliography in Word.

When it comes to images, you can capture selections of your desktop, but you can also grab pictures from websites and add them to ClaroCapture. This comes in handy when you are interested in charts, tables or other graphic figures.

Regardless of the type of content you capture, you can record an audio note to go along with it, and you can include explanations, ideas or suggestions pertaining to your project (you can even save this note as a WAV file for later analysis).

ClaroCapture can export your created presentation to Word, Powerpoint or RTF files, so you can easily integrate them in additional projects. Alternatively, you can export the data to the clipboard and paste it into a third-party mind mapping application to generate a chart.
