Encode&Decode

Encode&Decode is a feather-light and portable application you can use to encode and code text using various methods, such as Base64, ROT13, SHA1 and MD5.

Although it's dedicated to users experienced with these encoding modes, it features straightforward options that make it accessible to anyone, even those unfamiliar with this sort of software.

The entire program's wrapped in a single .exe file that can be saved in any part of the hard disk and just double-clicked to launch Encode&Decode. Another option is to place it on a USB flash drive to keep it with you at all times and run it on any PC. It doesn't need DLL files to run, create files on the HDD, or change the Windows registry.

When it comes to the interface, the utility adopts a classical window with clear-cut appearance that doesn't put emphasis on graphical elements, yet it's easy to navigate, thanks to the fact that it displays all options available.

To get started, you can select the encoding or decoding method from a drop-down menu, whether we're talking about Base64, MD5, SHA1, ROT13 or URL encode. In the following step, all you have to do is type or paste the text you're attempting to encode or decode, and click a button to perform this operation immediately.

Although the software program doesn't integrate buttons for copying data to the Clipboard, exporting it to file, or printing it, it can be copied by selecting text and using the global keyboard shortcut or by opening the right-click menu.
