Excel Mobile

Excel Mobile is a reliable application that you can install on Windows 10, from the Store. The tool is designed to open files created with Microsoft Excel, such as spreadsheets or even workbooks. You can view the worksheets, display comments and enable the files’ sharing over OneDrive.

The most notable properties of Excel Mobile is that it is a Windows Store app, the installation is quick and almost entirely automated. The program is created for Windows 10 and optimized for usage on mobile devices: it features a clear-cut interface, with simplistic, large command buttons.

The app runs on PCs and laptops as well, allowing you to open several types of files, which you can create with Microsoft Excel. It supports both XLS formats, generated with Excel versions earlier than 2007, as well as XLSX files.

The program can render tables, charts, cell formatting, as well as other shapes or font types. It can also open other Excel-supported files, such as macros, workspaces or templates.

Excel Mobile can be successfully used as a spreadsheet reader, which allows you to view the full content of the opened file, plus comments. It also enables the file sharing and printing, but the editing and saving functions are not activated.

The program requires you to connect to your Office 365 account, to activate the spreadsheet editing features: create a new file, edit and save the content to your computer.

Given its nature, Excel Mobile is simple to use on tablets, phones and desktop PCs alike. However, even when connected with your Office 365 account and the editing functions activated, the tool is not designed to replace Microsoft Excel. It offers several editing commands, but its main purpose is to facilitate opening and viewing spreadsheets on various Windows 10 devices.
