MDI Converter

As suggested by its name, MDI Converter is a tool designed to help you Microsoft Document Imaging files (MDI)  to other formats, such as JPG, BMP, TIFF, PNG and PDF. But it can also change the extension of TIF and JPG items, among others.

The tool is wrapped in a clean and uncomplicated interface where items can be imported with the help of the file browser only, since 'drag and drop' is not supported. Working with multiple entries at the same time is permitted.

You can preview the documents, use a search function, zoom in and out, rotate pages and easily navigate between them, as well as convert all pages or just the current one.

The program puts little strain on the computer's resources, as it runs on a low amount of CPU and system memory. It has a good response time and includes user documentation. We have not come across any problems throughout our testing; MDI Converter did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs.

MDI Converter does not come with an extensive list of features but it provides a straightforward solution for the conversion of  Microsoft Document Imaging files files. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, the tool can be easily figured out, even by inexperienced users.
