Memoranda

Memoranda is a straightforward and intuitive program designed to be a personal organizer that helps create and manage all your events, tasks, and agenda.

Since no installation is required, the application can be dropped onto a USB flash drive and run from any computers. This way, it doesn’t create new entries in the Windows registry or other locations on the hard drive.

It's wrapped in a well-organized and clean layout divided into three parts, one with the provided functions (agenda, events, to-dos, and resources), a calendar for each function, and the editing area.

To add a new activity, all you have to do is select one of the provided categories by inputting the desired information. One of the useful features is the "Agenda” panel, which shows the status of all projects sorted by their priority.  Plus, it contains a list of the appointments for the current day and small customizable stickers for essential notes.

If you want to schedule an event, a few information is needed such as duration, short description and recurrence (e.g. daily, monthly, or a specific date). The program notifies you when the time comes for an appointment. In the main panel, you can see which projects are already accomplished, require further attention, and failed.

The app offers a simple editing pad for creating notes, which provides a broad range of font types, styles, colors, bold, and italic, as well as inserting bullet lists, and content alignment to the left, right or center.  It's possible to insert hyperlinks, the date and time, or images in JPEG, PNG and GIF formats, along with the desired size and border.

Moreover, it enables you to enter tables by specifying the number of columns and rows, width, height, spacing, and the fill color. Notations can also be saved to the computer in HTML, HTM, XHTML and XML type. The app provides a workplace to access resources from various locations together with their shortcuts. You can define an external application that opens by double-clicking on the created shortcut.

It's possible to export the database in a compressed format (ZIP) for storing them on various external devices for later usage. This option is useful for transferring projects between different machines and for backup in case you encounter errors.
