Txt2Csv

Txt2Csv is a completely free application that you could use in order to convert text files in CSV. It has some tools but it would certainly use some more.

Txt2Csv doesn't take long to install and it doesn't have a complicated setup that you must complete until you can fully check out its features.

However, it could use some more tools and instructions so that new users wouldn't get confused on how its features work. The first thing that you need to do inside the application is to browse your computer and add files.

You must browse your computer in order to load files, there's no option of dragging and dropping them inside the application. You can convert only .txt files, it won't work if you use documents created in other text editors.

Files are converted and automatically saved in the directory of the original file, but you can pick another destination folder. There's the option to pick from a field and line delimiter. It comes with seven delimiters and you can adjust the fields and lines.

There are some options for output CSV files, you can also pick a field delimiter and enable the feature that allows for force field double quoting. You can pick the column to remove or the line.

There are some specifications so make sure you read the tips inside the graphical interface. It has a progress bar at the bottom of the screen, but it doesn't alert users when conversions are completed. The application can be used for converting only one file at a time, batch conversion isn't supported.

Txt2Csv is a nice software solution for converting files, it works but it has very few features.
