Fonts are, like many other things that have inherent diversity, subject to alteration and variations, and having the right ones for you can sometimes involve a truly adventurous endeavor. Things can go even further, and sooner than later, you’ll find yourself designing your own fonts, and even managing or curating a collection or catalogue of fonts. Catering to the latter, Typepress will provide you with a stylish solution for managing a collection of fonts, through a cataloging interface that features a wide range of useful tools and intelligent functionality.

As soon as we initialized the application, we were impressed by its minimalist and elegant design, which we feel is essential to have, given its scope and intended purpose – a cataloging app, for structuring and browsing content.

All the necessary features are right there, readily available, and adding fonts to your existing collection, or defining a new one and adding relevant details, is quite straightforward and accessible.

As stated above, adding fonts is a breeze, and the nifty side-panel, which allows one to either browse favorites, collections, directories, or individual entries. The main visualizer area, which allows users to preview the actual character set of the different fonts, offers ample viewing possibilities.

One extra feature which we also enjoyed, was the developer module, which allows you to easily see things from a different perspective, and adjust elements and other relevant details, to your particular liking.

All-in-all, we believe that Typepress manages to provide excellent functionality to those in need of a capable tool for storing, previewing, and managing fonts and collections of fonts.
