PDF Form Filler is a lightweight Windows application whose purpose is to help you fill in forms directly in PDF files and preview the adjustments via Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The tool does not impress much in the visual department as the layout looks a bit outdated. However, it presents a coherent structure. It doesn’t come with support for a help manual but you can take advantage of its intuitive looks and configure the settings on your own.

PDF files can be added in the working environment using only the built-in browse button (you cannot rely on the drag-and-drop support).

PDF Form Filler is able to automatically identify all forms included in a PDF file and displays them directly in the main window. It also indicates the total number of forms detected in a document.

The application gives you the possibility to enter user-defined text, make choices, pick the preferred answer type (Yes or No), as well as select an item. When it comes to choosing an item, the utility reveals a list with all possible options, so you can easily select the preferred one.

PDF Form Filler doesn’t integrate a built-in viewer so you need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your system in order to check out the changes applied to the file. The altered document can be saved to a separate PDF file or you can overwrite the existing item.

Tests have shown that the utility carries out a task quickly and without errors. It remains light on system resources so the overall performance of the system is not hampered.

Although PDF Form Filler doesn’t have one of the most modern layouts on the market, it gets the job done fast and without requiring complex configuration settings. The intuitive feature pack makes it suitable for rookies and professionals alike.
