A PDF merging utility can come in handy quite often, such as when multiple project members need to combine their contributions without having to join multiple documents manually and then generate a new PDF file.

PDF Merger is a very simple tool that enables you to combine numerous documents into a single file. It allows you to preview their contents and can even create bookmarks automatically.

On the face of it, things are relatively simple. You can import individual files or entire folders, and it is also possible to add new documents by dropping them in the application window. Unfortunately, password-protected files cannot be processed.

You can analyze the file list to view which documents have been loaded thus far, but you cannot alter their order. Moreover, the application does not display the page count or file size.

Once you have imported your documents, you can preview them to ensure the right ones have been added. However, it is quite tricky to zoom in or out, and some may find the text to be difficult to read.

PDF Merger offers you the option of creating bookmarks based on each file’s name, which can help you find certain items more easily in the larger output document.

Sadly, though, it is not possible to process specific pages from each document should you find that some of them are not necessary.

After you have finished the required configurations, you can press the Process button and provide the output folder. However, PDF Merger cannot open the target directory automatically once the operation has been completed.
