PDF Unlocker

With this application, intuitively named PDF Unlocker, you get exactly what is advertised, a simple way of removing any password restrictions from your PDF file or files. The program is efficient. I was a bit sad to see that bulk processing wasn't really available, but up to a certain point, it made sense. You'd still have to process each file independently because the password will most likely vary on a case-by-case basis.

Like in the case of most applications out there designed to facilitate some sort of security-related function, you don't expect much attention on design, but that really isn't the case with this program which, despite being so simple, does not really cut any corners. The program itself works well and does not display any issues. I successfully unlocked some PDF files, and it was just a few moments before I could enjoy what was rightfully mine in the first place.

Drag and drop is supported and makes any user's life easier. Once again, bulk processing does not work. You will have to drag each particular file one by one, and then attempt to remove the security issues. In terms of the procedure used to unlock them, not much is said, but it probably includes the standard methods.

Right, so you might be tempted to avoid it since it deals with security features and such, but that would be a mistake on your side, since the app is indeed friendly and helpful and can be used by any type of user, beginner or otherwise. It does not include a lot of features and that's too bad because the developer certainly went in the right direction here.

PDF Unlocker is indeed a helpful tool to work with for those moments when removing the password to a PDF file is really a must.
