PDF to Image Converter

PDF to Image Converter is a program with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to convert PDF documents to several popular image formats, such as JPEG, TIFF, BMP and PNG.

The software comes with a user-friendly interface in which you can load PDFs using the standard import function or by relying on drag and drop actions.

It is possible to add every PDF file from a particular folder to the processing queue with a couple of mouse clicks, and you can specify whether or not subdirectories should be taken into consideration.

Once you have added one or more items to the queue, you can check out the name, path, size and status of each PDF file.

All you have to do is access the "Options" area to specify the output format and destination (same as input folder or custom), in order to initiate the conversion process.

You can save each page in a separate image file, as well as configure image parameters for each format, like resolution, colors, quality and language level. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time.

PDF to Image Converter quickly finishes a conversion task, contains a comprehensive help file for both novices and advanced users, and runs on a low-to-moderate amount of system resources. We haven't come across any issues during our tests since the program did not freeze, crash or pop up errors.

The image quality of the output files is very good, but not excellent. Some improvements would be welcomed in the interface department, since it is outdated. PDF to Image Converter is a very good application for batch conversions and we strongly recommend it to all users, regardless of their level.
