While PDF files are used worldwide as they do not compromise on quality, sharing a document that is too big can sometimes be a pain. One solution would be to split it into many parts and transfer it, but this certainly is not practical when you want to share a high number of files.

PDFCompressor-FM is a tool designed to help you resize large PDF documents many times over, while optimizing the files at the same time. Optimizing entails that the app checks and can remove unused pages, invalid links and bookmarks for best results.

The program comes with a user-friendly interface and you can get started by creating a new job using the small plus button located right under the main menu. To create a new job, you need to provide a name, select a profile, specify the input, output and error folders and choose your filters.

To make sure that you can easily distinguish the new compressed files, especially if you prefer to store them in the same folder, you can choose a template for the name of the copied file. In case you want to keep the original files as well, then it is important to specify an archive folder, as the app is configured to delete it by default.

The highlight of the app stems from the fact that you can monitor the input folder and hence, the app proceeds to compress all new files added. You configure the job once and the app does all the boring tasks for you.

As previously mentioned, the tool can also optimize the documents and you can check out the dozens of features in this sense from the Profile's settings. While PDFCompressor-FM is mainly designed for PDF files, you should know that it works equally well with images for which you can perform both optimization of image depth color and compression.
