As the title of this application implies, pdf2image is designed to help you convert PDF documents to several image formats (JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF). It can be easily used by individuals of any experience level.

The interface of the program is based on a standard wizard in which you can import PDF documents by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is allowed.

All you have to do is go to the "Options" area and select the image file type, establish the destination folder and initiate the conversion task.

You can change the size of pictures (by DPI or pixels), remove white margins, set the page range, choose the image quality factor, color model and rotation mode, enable transparency for GIFs, pick the color depth level for BMPs, PNGs and TIFFs, and more.

The application runs on a very low amount of system resources (which is barely noticeable), allows multiple instances, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep the original layout and quality regarding text, images and shapes. There is also a well-written help file with snapshots that you can check out. Aside from the simplistic interface, we strongly recommend pdf2image to all users.
