Working with text documents, especially in the case of bigger ones, can prove to be difficult if you cannot reliably go back to a certain passage, bookmark a paragraph, or the formatting is off. This can be especially important when you're proofreading something, as it's easy to skim past an error without noticing.

PageSector is a simple utility whose aim is to help users navigate through text more efficiently. Through a bookmarking feature, which allows one to mark any passages they wish, you can divide your text into sections, which can help you get back to where you last left off with ease.

This is a simple text reader, which also allows users to interact with their text by modifying it. As such, this makes such a solution one able to be used for proofreading, allowing users to correct typos, or other errors of any sort. Interestingly, besides supporting .txt files, the tool also accepts JavaScript, HTML, RTF, and other such types.

Regardless, if you're after a no-nonsense text reader, then you might appreciate what's on offer here. Simply feed the text file you wish to start reading up on, and the tool should display everything without a problem. The bookmarking part can be of use when you're working with larger text files, as it allows you to divide passages into sections you can return to anytime.

There's also a Web function, which supposedly takes text from a webpage, so that the user can read and bookmark it via the program's interface however they want, but we found it rather unreliable.

It is possible to jot down anything that's on your mind while using the app. Bring up the Notes menu, which will allow you to note down anything of importance.

Going into the Settings menu will provide you with a few options. You can change the font and size of your text, as well as your sections'.

An enunciation function is also available. Simply right-click on what you wish the computer to enunciate, and use the Start Talking option.

PageSector is a tool that might be helpful if you like bookmarking sections of your text. However, it is possible that some users might find the tool all too simple and rudimentary, which makes this software proposition a bit lacking in the end.
