It is always a good idea to choose the software you rely on in your routine based on your computer’s specifications so that you do not overburden it, which would result in an inefficient resource management and overall decreased performance.

Notepad is a lightweight application that helps you carry out some basic tasks when handling text documents, being able to recognize TXT, INI, HTML, and FPOWER file formats.

As said, given the fact that the program is targeting users whose machines are a bit slow, you should not get your expectations high as far as its user interface is concerned. Its appearance is rather modest, even though it is in no way outdated.

It is worth mentioning that the text editor’s feature set is quite poor too and lets you perform strictly basic actions. To be more specific, you can type in your text or open an existing document in order to start editing it, then organize your content as you see fit, with cut, copy, and paste features being integrated for ease of use.

Apart from that, changing the font size is possible if you navigate to the “Options” menu. However, the task might seem burdensome since, in order for the modifications to be visible, the app need be restarted, so the changes do not exactly appear in real time.

And that is about it in matter of editing tools. Nevertheless, you should know that no errors whatsoever have been encountered during our tests, which is of critical importance, given the aim of the program.
