PLUME will help users quickly create new documents, scripts or books, save them accordingly and manage the different text entries thanks to a useful document-tree panel.

Right off the bat, the application greets users with a well-designed, pleasing interface that offers the ability to create blank documents, scripts, and books easily. Existing projects can also be opened with ease, and for those who wish to participate further and learn more about the app, links to a blog and tutorials are also provided.

Writing in the provided editor is a breeze and thanks to its dedicated side panel, one can easily keep track of the different entries and have easy access to tho whichever document is required.

The text editor boasts enough features for users who are enthusiastic about their writing, and it offers clear and precise editing. Multiple formatting features are provided and keeping track of the words and symbols is easy thanks to the top status bar.

However, during our tests, with the application opened in the editor mode, the “Ctrl+S” key combination was locked, being unavailable in some of our other apps. Although this might not be such a bothersome issue, it could affect some users.

This piece of software will allow those who are keen about their writing and keeping their text document entries organized to have good management of their content. A well-balanced text editor ensures smooth writing and editing, which is coupled with a good document-tree tab that helps keep all things neatly organized.
