The Internet offers all sort of alternatives to Windows Notepad, but it's not an easy task to find one that meets all of your requirements and has an affordable price. One of them is PRONotePad.

It's a free software solution that lets you create and edit various text documents. However, it has few tools and it could use some more advanced features.

The application sports a really simple but fluent graphical interface that makes it easy to create all sort of documents on your computer.

It doesn't come with any customization options, which means that you won't be able to make any changes to the application. It also doesn't have any tips or instructions on how to use the program and all of its features.

You simply need to start typing text inside the main window in order to create text documents. It displays the number of columns and you can enable auto scroll if you want.

The program allows you to work on multiple documents at the same time, simply use tabs to navigate and manage them. It allows you to browse your computer and load all sort of text documents that you can edit. It doesn't have any text formatting tools, not even the option to adjust font size or type.

You can copy text from one section to another and it comes with the option to view all data in the clipboard. It also lets you use a search bar for finding all sort of words inside the text and you can replace them with other phrases.

It has unlimited undo options, so you can remove changes that you've made to the text. It doesn't have the option to print text directly from inside the application.

PRONotePad is a small but useful application for creating text documents on your computer, but it would have been nice if it had more options, like text formatting tools.
