QuickPad

Text editors are a dime a dozen on the Internet, but it's not an easy task to find one that comes with all the features that you need, while also sporting a really lightweight design.

One application that would could check out is QuickPad. It's a small and intuitive software solution that allows you to store quick notes on your computer.

The application installs quickly and it sports a really lightweight and simple graphical interface with simple tools and features that you could check out.

It doesn't come with any tips or instructions, but it would have been nice if it came with a presentation of the program's feature. It also doesn't have any customization options, in fact it's missing a toolbar with quick access to features.

You simply need to start typing in order to create notes inside the application. It comes with the option to save data and view it the next time you launch the application or you can create documents on your computer with the .qpn extension.

It also comes with a quick link for launching the default Notepad on your computer. You can cut and copy information inside the application or insert a date if you want. Moreover, it allows you to use unlimited undo and redo options.

You can toggle cases, including upper, lower, inverted, title or sentence cases. It also allows you to set the application to always stay on top or insert lines inside the document.

It comes with the option to enable word wrap, close the application to system tray, use hotkeys or adjust the transparency of the application. The font can be changed, you can adjust the style, type and size, but can't enable effects.

QuickPad is a small and useful application for creating all sort of notes on your computer but it would have been nice if it had some more features and tools.
