VietPad.NET

VietPad.NET is an accessible and intuitive program designed for those who wish to write files in English and Vietnamese with ease. It supports special characters (diacritics) and input methods, like VNI, VIQR and Telex, without needing other external apps like keyboard drivers.

The installation process is completed in a blink of an eye and without errors. In order for the tool to start, you need to have .NET Framework installed on the computer or at least updated to the latest version for the app to run smoothly. Plus, VietPad.NET comes with IntelliMark capability, letting you to enter diacritics at the end of each term or anywhere within the word boundaries.

It's wrapped in a clear-cut and accessible interface consisting of a basic editor and a standard toolbar, which includes the most commonly used commands, like search option, spell checker and entry methods. At the bottom of the panel, are displayed the interface language that can be modified from the menu, and the input style.

In order to make a new record, just start typing or use the copy, cut and paste commands to quickly enter content from another source. To correct mistakes, you can use the undo and redo buttons to go back to the original text. However, only the date and time can be inserted into the body, as VietPad.NET doesn't come with an option to add images and tables or select a paragraph alignment.

It's possible to choose specific font types, sizes and colors, disable word wrap, remove line breaks and pick the desired letter case (e.g. lowercase, uppercase, titlecase). The tool lets you switch between English and Vietnamese keyboard system, select the input method and enable IntelliMark. From the menu you can use the spellchecker, convert text to various formats like, Unicode and VIQR, as well as add, normalize and strip diacritics. It can open and save documents in ANSI and Unicode file types by selecting the appropriate encoding mode under the File menu.
