LauncherX is a lightweight utility designed to help you store all the files, directories and websites you access daily or frequently in a single window, so as to be able to launch any of them much easier. It is, if you like, a mini-storage area for your favorite shortcuts, storing the links you like so as to avoid cluttering the desktop.

Simplicity is the key feature when it comes to LauncherX. Its black-themed, elegant interface can store all the websites, folders, and files you want to have within reach. In other words, it allows you to access the preferred webpages, directories and files of all types with a single click.

There are just a few buttons within the main window, each designed to add a new item to the list of shortcuts. You can easily add a new website, a folder or a file. Websites are displayed with their icon, while thumbnail previews are available for photos. On the downside, LauncherX cannot preview videos.   Different types of items can be added in the sequence and their order can be easily modified using drag and drop. The search form on top helps you find the items you need in a large list.

On the downside, there is no way to generate a new dashboard or create categories. While the icon size can be adjusted, no other customization option is available.
