It displays data on your files like size, date and extension type. Unfortunately, you can't open files inside the application in order to preview them. You can save catalogs in xml format on your computer.

Information can also be exported to a CSV document or in HTML format. Other than that, XmlCatalog doesn't come with any other features or at least a settings many with some changes that you could do.
