As your business grows, it becomes more and more challenging to manage every single element that makes it work. One of the aspects you should never lose track of is your employees and their attitude towards their work. While keeping morale high should be any manager’s primary goal, it’s also important to have the right tools to help you track your employees’ attendance and time spent at the office.

Today we’re going to take a look at an application that can be seen mainly as a time-tracking tool but comes with many other features as well.

I should admit from the get-go that I can’t really have a qualified opinion on this piece of software. Although AMGtime is not difficult to use, it’s packed with features, so exploring every one of them isn’t something one can do in one or two hours of testing. In fact, the managers who will use this may require a bit of training before they get used to it and before the tool actually becomes an asset for your company.

Nevertheless, the interface itself shouldn’t pose a problem for anyone. You can even customize the main screen to add various widgets that you find helpful and remove those that you don’t. There’s even a configuration wizard to help you out, and you should certainly take all the time to customize the program’s functions according to your company’s needs.

AMGtime can be integrated with various pieces of hardware in order to receive every electronic clock in and clock out of an employee. You can keep track of the employees’ tardiness, their breaks, overtime, and days off. You can keep track of wages and payrolls, and can generate reports on most of the aspects I’ve already mentioned.

While I can’t compare this AMGtime to other similar apps or recommend it based on my experience, it certainly feels like this is a particularly useful piece of software for medium and large businesses.
