The better you manage your finances, the easier it is to make investments or even save some money. This is an important activity for both businesses and personal management of funds. With a computer and the right application, which can be Banker, you can easily keep a close record of your transactions and investments.
One of the main advantages is that the application saves you the whole effort and time needed to go through a setup process. You can run it as soon as download is done. What’s more, this makes it easy to carry it around on a USB flash drive to always have your account details at hand. However, the computer you use it on needs to be equipped with .NET Framework to ensure functionality.
All features are wrapped around a classic window frame, with no elements to make it stand out from the crowd, but aesthetics are not the main attraction here. The main window displays an interactive calendar for comfortable preview and navigation between days. All transactions highlight corresponding days on the calendar.
You also find general account details in the main window, such as account name, last transaction, and current balance based on the entire history of transactions. There are two additional windows you get to use for full management.
On the one hand, there’s the creation process. This brings up a set of tools where you get to pick the type, which can either be withdrawal or deposit, as well as the day of the transaction, this is picked from a calendar. You can write a short description for easy identification later on.
The other window is the list of all your transactions. These are shown in a table with column headers for all details you get to fill in, including the description field. On the bright side, you can filter according to them at the press of a button. However, all of them are placed in a general list, with no easy method of sorting according to type, or date.
All things considered, we can state that Banker might not be a fully-fledged funds management solution, but it works just fine for personal, monthly overview of transactions. You don’t get to fill in complex sets of details, but is worth the effort overall.
