Budget Organizer

Specifically made for Windows 10, 8.1 and 8, Budget Organizer is a small-sized app that facilitates a user-friendly interface for keeping track of expenses.

It features approachable options that can be tackled with ease by all types of users, even the ones with no previous experience in financial software.

The tool can be seamlessly downloaded from the Microsoft Store after logging it with a Microsoft account, and quickly installed in the Start Screen in Windows 8, as well as the Start Menu in Windows 8.1 and 10.

The interface is represented by a large window that can be switched to fullscreen mode. It contains three large buttons for starting a new project, as well as for playing and stopping an animation.

After creating a new project, you can perform calculations by entering the name of the item you're thinking of buying, its price and amount, along with the amount of money you have at hand.

The entry can be saved with the click of a button and added to the expenses list. Any item can be removed from the database if you change your mind. The app informs you whether or not you have enough money to make a new purchase.

There are no special options implemented for this program. However, you can share information with your friends or family via email, messaging, OneNote, Twitter or other media platforms installed on your computer.

Budget Organizer has an unpolished appearance and a poor set of options. For instance, it doesn't integrate features for calculating income in addition to expenses, nor for changing the background or customizing other UI options. On top of that, we experienced an issue in our tests, as it failed to stop the animation after launching the command, forcing us to restart the tool.

Other than that, it had minimal impact on the computer's performance. As expected from such a compact application, it used a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. Too bad that it's not refined. Overall, it's not the most reliable companion for better managing expenses. We must also keep in mind that it hasn't received updates for a while.
