Frappe Books is an open-source, modern, stylish, and very functional account software aimed for the former. Developed by a small team, Frappe Books promises to provide small businesses or freelancers with tons of useful tools for solid money management, book-keeping, billing, payments, ledgers, invoices, and reporting.

The app’s GUI is not only stylish and modern but also very well designed. On the left, you can access sections such as the Dashboard, Sales, Purchases, Reports, and Settings, while the right side of the app is the place where you can add invoices, customers, items, taxes, groups, accounts, and so forth. The Dashboard itself is particularly useful as it provides you with a clear view of all financial cash flow (inflow and outflow). You’ll be able to see all the changes in cash flow, as well as a clear situation regarding the purchase invoices, sales invoices, profit and loss, as well as chart of all the top expenses.

The app allows you to record invoices using a plethora of currencies. For example, you can record your own invoices in your country’s currency, and record them for your customer’s in their respective country’s currency. Frappe Books also automatically converts all invoices in your default currency, for a better financial view.

You can also create invoice templates, and customize them according to your needs. You can change the color, as well as the logo of the brand.
