MyTools Suite for Windows 8

MyTools Suite is a straightforward application that bundles three distinct calculators to help figure out the school grades, how much to tip the waiter and what your weekly, monthly or yearly pay is.

The app can be downloaded and installed through the Microsoft Store with just one click. It's wrapped in a basic interface with the option to switch the tool in full-screen mode. Each element has a unique color to easily differentiate them, and the displayed text is large enough to be seen on a tablet as well.

Unfortunately, MyTools Suite doesn't come with any UI customization options, like changing the background and text color, selecting the desired currency unit or the choice to export the calculations to a TXT, RTF, XLS or CSV file. However, thanks to its simplicity, it can be used by novices as well.

The first feature lets you calculate your grade based on the assignment, earned points and extra credit received from extracurricular activities. Before pressing the "Calculate" button, you have to enter your assignment. You can add as many homework assignments as necessary.

The tip calculator comes in handy when you need to determine how much you have to tip the waiter by taking into consideration your location and restaurant type. All you have to fill in is the bill price, tip percentage and the number of people that pay. Since the app is compatible with tablets too, it can be used on the go directly from the table.

Plus, you can calculate your weekly, monthly and yearly salary based on the hourly wage and the number of worked hours. It would have been a plus if the tool provided an option to determine the hourly pay based on the gross income.

The bottom line is that MyTools Suite is an intuitive program designed to offer easy means to calculate school grades, restaurant tips and annual income. Plus, you can share the information with your friends by taking a screenshot from the main panel's settings.
