Pay Calculator

Pay Calculator is an easy-to-use command-line tool that enables you to seamlessly calculate salary rates based on the specified information.

It takes a step-by-step approach, asking you one question at a time, so there are no CLI arguments involved. Even users who aren't familiarized with console programs can quickly figure out how it works.

There is no installer file available. Instead, Pay Calculator is wrapped into a single .exe item. It can be saved to a custom folder on the disk or to a USB flash drive to seamlessly launch it on any computer with as little effort as possible. It doesn't need additional software to work properly, create files and folders on the disk without permission, or update the system registry with new entries.

Once launched, you can enter the hourly rate of pay, optionally reduce time spent for launch and break, specify the time in minutes, indicate the number of days worked, as well as point out the number of hours worked for each day.

After entering this data, the software application instantly makes calculations and lets you know how much you've earned in the given period of time, including any deductions for launch and break. The set currency is American Dollar and cannot be changed into something else. In the following step, you can either restart the task or quit to the desktop.

As expected from such a lightweight application, Pay Calculator had minimal impact on the machine's performance in our tests. It needed a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly, carried out tasks fast, and didn't cause the operating system to hang, crash or prompt errors. It remained stable throughout its runtime. This piece of kit offers a simple solution for calculating salary rates.
