Although it might not predict your future or anybody else's for that matter, Predict, with its mysterious name, is actually a tool designed to help you calculate how much time a certain project might take to finish. It requires the user to add information such as the various stages contained by the work-in-progress, as well as completion percentages for each. Based on the added info, the app speculates how your workflow will unfold.

The principle behind this application's functionality lies in the Monte Carlo type simulation, a way to predict and organize workflows based on already registered progress. The app itself is quite easy to navigate. It makes sense from the very beginning. All functions are visible and well organized inside the only window that makes up this tool. Create a New project by clicking on the blue button.

Open and save functions are included, meaning you can pick up where you left off in no time. The New Task and Delete Task buttons contain the function you'll use the most. Once all the data is inserted, add Estimated and Actual completion values for all tasks. Click the green Predict button, and watch as the left side of the app becomes populated with numbers and figures.

The whole concept behind the app is to help users better understand how their workflow develops. It can also help iron out any problems you might have with procrastination or wasted time. Understand what consumes your time the most in order to allocate more resources. Change the structure of your project as you see it evolve, and more precisely, as you understand what its weak points really are.
