Spending Tracker

Managing your money is becoming more and more of a necessity with the rise of financial insecurity around the world. Spending Tracker is a neat software tool that lets you keep track of all your spending habits and puts them against your income rate so that you get a good idea on whether or not you are saving money or are a wreckless wallet buster.

From a functional point of view, the app just lets you register all expenses you've made over a period (which will be numerically saved as a negative value), and subtract that from your total income (salary, allowance, loan, etc.). The end balance will tell you how much you can save with your current spending rate. Admittedly, you could do this simply by looking how much money left you to have at the end of the month, but at least with this app, you will know where it all went.

As you use it more and more, you can then view the evolution of your spending habits over a weekly, monthly or yearly graph, thus allowing you to see if you are progressing or not. You can program certain expenses to be automatically added each month (such as your utility bills), but also your incomes (your salary). This allows you reduce the hassle of using this app, so you can only add unexpected variables to the equation.

While Spending Tracker doesn't bring anything new to the table, it is still a better solution than just trying to remember all the expenses you made over the course of a month. This makes it a great tool for anyone trying to refrain from overspending.
