The first step to creating a FNT file with this application is to select the font of interest. All installed fonts on your computer can be explored in the Preview tab. Here, a table with two columns, one for name, while the other for preview is found. Double clicking a row means you’re ready to process it, but you can always return to the Preview tab if you change your mind.

The Export tab is where you get to adjust a series of options. The name is displayed in a dedicated field. Size is adjusted from a dedicated panel, with an additional drop-down menu for texture size, ranging from 128 to 1024. More parameters can be enabled, such as bold, or italic. The preview of some characters is also displayed, with the possibility to copy them.

Depending on the selected font, one or more pictures are generated. Hitting the “Export” button lets you choose a location to save the picture. It’s created under the BMP format, with an accompanying FNT file to use in your projects.
