BitFontCreator Latin is a reliable program which allows you to easily and quickly create bitmap font sets for Windows. The application allows you to create or modify monochrome 1-bpp bitmap fonts that can be used both in Windows and certain mobile devices. You can create a font from scratch or import an existing one.

Creating fonts can be time consuming, which is why BitFontCreator Latin can help you speed up the drawing/modification of bitmap characters. You may easily create a new font from a blank page, or you may import one of the existing system fonts and modify it.

The software supports importing a large series of font types, such as TrueType, OpenType, Adobe Type 1 or Raster fonts. The supported extensions include: .FNT, . FON and .BDF. BitFontCreator Latin features a series of editing tools that you can use in order to modify the appearance of any character, such as pencil, eraser, line, rectangle, shifting rows, invert or mirror.

BitFontCreator Latin offers a series of useful functions, such as multi-copy characters, which allows you to duplicate and transfer multiple characters between different font sets at the same time. Moreover, the software supports ASCII + ISO8859 encoding, several scripts, including Cyrillic, Western, Vietnamese or Baltic, as well as a multitude of characters with cedilla.

You can customize the appearance of the font characters, from its general size, to the order and number of bits. When all the preferences are set, you may easily export the font set to .C format, to .ASM or .BIN files. Alternatively, you may choose one of the Windows supported font types: font resource (.FNT), bitmap font (.FON) or bitmap files of characters (.BMP).

BitFontCreator Latin allows you import character sets, to export them, but also to save the current project and resume it later.
