BoyBot

Sometimes you feel the need to unload all of ours daily burden and just talk to someone. Unfortunately, there's not always someone around to hear you out. BoyBot can come as an alternative to a live human, as it will talk to you and make jokes, and while he may not be the brightest person to talk you, he is still better than nothing.

To further enhance the "human-friendly" feel of your chatting experience the bot has a handsome boy's avatar that acts as a human interface, and the facial animations are in sync (more or less) with whatever he says. The avatar is well designed, considering the low filesize the whole app has, as it is certain it took some time and dedication to create such a life-like humanoid face. ChatBot Talking Robot also supports voice commands via microphone, so you don't have to worry about mashing the keyboard trying to talk to him.

​A data feature about this app is that it allows you to talk about any subject since the bot's vocabulary can be customized to answer in a certain way when given trigger-words. This makes each user's BoyBot a reflection of their personality.  The bot has the limited computing power and therefore doesn't understand words out of context. This means that whenever you try teaching it new words, you have to program it to react in certain ways when hearing certain words.

BoyBot is a nice overall app for driving boredom away, as it may in some measure replace a friend, or at least the temporary need to talk to someone. More so, the fact that you may customize the bot's vocabulary, along with the way it reacts to certain words, makes this app a unique experience for every user.
