Feather Weight

Going on a diet can be a real hassle, and even a nightmare for some, since the first step in starting a diet is looking at all the food that you like and bidding it farewell. Because dieting can be so hard for some, constant motivation is necessary, either in the form of close friends and family, or logging your progress. Feather Weight is a dietary diary meant to help you keep track of all the weight you lose so that you can see improvements day by day.

Once you open the app, it will ask you to input certain details about yourself, such as current weight, desired weight, height, sex, activity level, and the rate at which you want to lose some of that extra girth. Once you are finished creating your profile, you are taken to the main window where you have access to all the features that this app has. For example, it will tell you the date on which (presumably) you will reach your goal weight, assuming you follow your diet to the letter.

Based on the data you inputted when you created your profile, the app will let you know which is your daily calorie goal. Afterwards, you can adjust your eating habits and exercises to try and achieve it. You may keep track of all the foods you eat (and their caloric value), and all the exercise routines you perform (and the calories they consume) by choosing from a preset list. However, if the food or exercise is not present in Feather Weight's database, you can manually add new ones easily by just entering the name and the caloric value. This tool will keep a daily log of all your progress, and you will constantly know if whatever it is you're doing is working or not.

Feather Weight is a lightweight tool that acts as a dietary log, letting you keep track of your daily caloric balance so that you may gain, lose or maintain your current weight efficiently. If you pair this up with an exercise app, you will surely be on your way to a much healthier body.
