Kea Coloring Book

While most of us associate coloring with dozens of crayons, dripping watercolors and countless ruined white papers, nowadays kids have an alternative. Kea Coloring Book is a cute program that enables your kids to have fun without all the mess.

The app has a simple interface that should be quite easy to figure out by children of all ages.

The program includes several coloring pages that you can choose from and a variety of tools to work with. For instance, when you want to apply a certain color in a place, you may use the “Fill” tool, which automatically covers the entire area between the borders with the shade of your choice.

Also, you may use a regular brush that you have to carefully use in order to not cross the guiding lines. Alternatively, you can cheat by using the magic brush which doesn’t let you draw over the borders. The “Dropper” tool can be used to help you create new shades by mixing various colors from the drawing or from the pallets on the left side of the interface.

A marker pen and an eraser are also available to use. Also, every time you make a mistake you can click the “Undo” button or they keyboard combination of Ctrl + Z. All images can be saved to disk to GIF format. Alternatively, they can be sent to the printer so your child can enjoy their work.

The bottom line is that Kea Coloring Book is a nice tool that can be quite fun to use. Inexperienced individuals shouldn’t have problems while working with this app, thanks to its intuitive interface.
