Considering this can be considered as their first step into society, the importance of spending time on exercises to help your first grader practice in a fun and rewarding way cannot be stressed enough. In the eventuality that you do not know where to start or what type of exercises you should be solving, then 1st Grade Activities could take you out of this predicament.

After a quick setup, you are welcomed by a colorful and animated interface that is very intuitive and should not pose any challenges regardless of whether your child accesses it alone. Unlike Panda Preschool Adventures or Mermaid Preschool Lessons, the UI is not entirely revolving around symbols anymore, but rather combines them with numbers and letters. Then again, navigation and operation remain just as simple and intuitive.

On a side note, you can specify whether you like to hear the music in the background during the study session from the main window and toggle it on and off. On the other hand, you cannot mute the sound while solving the exercises, an element that can be bothersome when you are trying to help your child study.

It is important to note that the program features two modes that are aimed to help children study throughout the year. The Easy Mode is designed for the first semester when children learn how to tell time, numbers, letters, words and simple algebra.

The Hard Mode features slightly more complex exercises and can be used later on the first semester or the second one, depending on the child's progress. You should know that some of the exercises in the Hard mode include answering as many questions as possible in a given time (usually 30 seconds), a type of exercise that can help students get a feel for tests or pop quizzes.
