AlexWare Dictionary 2002 Phrase is a program that allows users to access an English-to-Bulgarian and Bulgarian-to-English dictionary, along with useful search tools.

The design of AlexWare Dictionary 2002 Phrase is not particularly pretty or decorative, instead being a rather basic, but expandable window that displays the essentials in a clear fashion. This is not necessarily a bad thing though and while the design is basic, it is easy to navigate and straightforward to use.

The program is automatically set to Bulgarian-to-English, yet changing between the modes is displayed clearly regardless of what language you prefer. A list of words is displayed along the left side of the application in an expandable area, allowing users to view an entire dictionary in either language. When a word is selected, all details regarding it appear in the main text area.

AlexWare Dictionary 2002 Phrase presents a few useful options that make it far superior than an actual dictionary, including two different search mechanics. Users can search for individual words as expected, although there is no spelling assist, the search will not recommend or help users who can't spell the word their looking for.

As a more advanced option, AlexWare Dictionary 2002 Phrase includes a phrase search option, allowing users to look up popular or commonly used phrases. The search method is more difficult though and does require a near exact search entry for it, having a list of commonly used phrases displayed the same as words might make it easier to use.

AlexWare Dictionary 2002 Phrase is definitely a useful tool that is an improvement over a regular dictionary which is the main thing with language support applications. The extra tools are useful and while more could be added, the current result is more than effective and will satisfy the requirements of most users.
