Alt1 Calculator

If your work implies calculus and problem solving and you are tired to manually do them, or just want to save some time, you can always use a calculator. Alt1 Calculator is not the only one out there, but it can be a good choice.

The program has a basic installation but, it has no GUI (Graphical User Interface), only a windowed field where you input your values. The program resides in the system tray and can be activated by "Alt+1" combination, or by clicking on its icon.

You can open multiple instances of the app, which allows you to perform several processes at once. The instances are also displayed in the system tray.

Alt1 Calculator has no GUI since all controls and shortcuts are linked to the keyboard. If you right-click the app and go to '"Help," you can notice a keyboard layout with all the formulas and options available. These shortcuts are functional when the app is running when closed (right-click + Exit) the keys are disabled.

The window can be moved around by dragging it by the Alt1 logo and can be minimized or expanded as much as your want. Near the input filed you can notice a red "X" and a "CLR" button. The X hides the app while the "CLR" clears your values, along with the history.

Alt1 Calculator lets you solve the most basic problems but also has the ability to use different operators, like sin, cos, average, log, equations, tan, atan, etc.

To sum it up, Alt1 Calculator is a useful tool for quick solving math problems and operations in real time, meaning that the result is displayed right after the values and operation were type in. Targets a wide base of users, due to its simplicity, but it can be fully exploited by those with an attraction to math.
