The Internet is filled with all sort of software solutions and programs that you could use in order to enhance functions on your computer. One of such applications is Arnab's Graph Explorer.
It allows you to define, edit and plot mathematical functions. It comes with lots of nice tools and features at hand, together with a very intuitive graphical interface.
The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete, before you can actually use it. It sports a really intuitive graphical interface with many nice tools at hand.
Arnab's Graph Explorer allows you to define, edit and plot mathematical functions. It is more of a graph plotter and explorer than a virtual graph paper.
Graph Explorer can only draw graphs of functions. It cannot draw relations, like x2+y2=1. It allows you to simply type in the function that you would like to draw. You can plot multiple mathematical functions in the same graph.
There's the option to have the application plot a certain function on the entire real line or only between certain domains. You can change the color of the line and set plot modifiers like differentiate and integrate. Moreover, the type of the line can be adjusted and changed.
Plot settings can be made, you can adjust the x and y centre or the scale and change the type of the line. It also comes with a settings menu that allows you to change the color for axes, the background, major and minor grids or errors.
Data can be saved in grf format, images can be copied on your computer and you can export information in a metafile on your system. Arnab's Graph Explorer is a very nice application that allows you to plot mathematical functions and save graphs on your computer.
What's new in Arnab's Graph Explorer 3.02:
- Touched the code after long time! The parser is no longer location specific - the decimal numnbers should not cause problem in non English OS. Also it now recognizes negative exponentials (i.e. 1e-2).
