Tasks are best developed under a fixed plan, and timetable, allowing you to view how far you are from reaching your goals, or know when, and what went wrong. In order to track your tasks, Bestimate provides a simple table you fill in with related values to calculate accuracy of all items on your timetable.

One of the main advantages is you don’t even have to go through the effort of installing the application to make it work, because it can run right after download. This enables you to take it with you on a thumb drive to have all tasks at hand, and check them on other computers besides your own. Registries remain intact, so you don’t have to worry about the integrity, or stability of the target PC.

The visual design allows individuals of all levels of experience to get the hang of things in a few seconds. Most of the space is taken up by a table you fill in with items. Related details let you specify a measurement unit, which can be composed of letters or numbers, predicted value, as well as the actual value received at the end of the task, or activity.

All values and tasks you create can be arranged by corresponding column headers. These can be manually positioned in a specific order, if the case requires it. Depending on the predicted, and actual values you write down, the application automatically calculates the accuracy rating. Total values of the whole project are also shown, even for accuracy.

Import options are limited to the application specific format, and it would have been useful to be able to load values from a spreadsheet, or at least a CSV value. In terms of export, you can save the entire database to load it later on, or generate a CSV document, but without a print function.

Bottom line is that analysis of your tasks in time helps reduce the chances of errors in future activities, thus boosting accuracy, and efficiency of your work. This is exactly what Bestimate aims to help you with, letting you work in a clean, intuitive environment. The overall impression is good, but more import, and export options would have been more than welcome.
