BlAkYs Translator

BlAkYs Translator is a lightweight software application developed specifically for helping your perform text translations between different languages. The tool offers support for multiple languages, such as Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, and Spanish.

In order to make use of the program’s conversion capabilities, you need to have an active Internet connection. Also, Internet Explorer 5.0 or a higher version is required in order to make the utility work properly.

BlAkYs Translator does not impress much in the visual department. It reveals a plain interface which does not have many configuration settings to offer. All dedicated parameters are implemented in a single panel, making it really easy for you to reach out and tweak them. A help manual is not available. However, you can carry out translation tasks on your own without extra assistance.

The application offers you the possibility to manually input the text that you want to process or paste it from the clipboard. What’s more, you are allowed to pick the translation languages from drop-down lists. BlAkYs Translator lets you copy the results to the clipboard so you can quickly paste the information in other windows.

Tests have pointed out that the program carries out translations pretty quickly. However, the tool has not been updated for a long time so you may bump into all sorts of errors, compatibility issues, and bugs on newer operating systems like Windows 10 and 8.

On the downside, BlAkYs Translator does not come packed with advanced features so you cannot import/export the information from/to plain text files, switch between translation languages, read aloud the translated text, and keep a list with unknown words, just to name a few suggestions.

To sum things up, BlAkYs Translator has to offer basic features for helping you carry out translations between different languages, and is suitable especially for less experienced users.
