Calcy

Built with some of the trendiest web technologies, Calcy is a stripped-down piece of software that makes it possible for you to perform basic mathematical operations such as additions, subtractions, multiplications, and divisions.

Of course, considering its minimalistic features-set, it's not at all surprising that this app doesn't pose any type of challenge, regardless of how inexperienced potential users are.

Things are made even easier thanks to the fact that it doesn't require installation: just download the archive, unzip it, and launch the application via its designated executable, no extra hassle.

Another advantage stems from the fact that it comes with keyboard support and the fact that it does take the order of operations into account, meaning that you can hand over a more complex equations, for example with all four supported operations, and the app is perfectly capable of providing you with an accurate result.

Besides the fact that's it's extremely poorly-equipped regarding features, the app has one other, major disadvantage. Tipping the scales around 100 MB, this is by no means a lightweight application, especially considering the fact that the default calculator from Windows 10 offers tons more features, at just one-third of the size.

Taking everything into account, there's not much that can be said about Calcy apart from the fact that it works. It's so simple, that it's tough to justify it's usefulness objectively. However, if you don't like the format or the way the default Windows calculators look and simplicity is what you're after, then Calcy might be worth a try-out.
