Music notation in the context of piano chords can be a challenging aspect, especially considering the inherent complexity and the multiple variations and combinations of cords, and their corresponding notes. There is abundant information regarding this topic on the Internet, but Chords Maker, just as its name aptly suggests, tries to provide a simple approach to such requirements, by offering you a straightforward way of selecting different notes, combining them with variations, and previewing their corresponding piano chord positions and distribution.

Right from the start, the design of Chords Maker seemed to be on the basic side, having only the essentials in terms of available features, addressing just the key functionality. To that end, I believe that this straightforward design serves its purpose well, especially considering the app’s intended purpose and scope.

You will be able to select the preferred musical scale, as well as corresponding variations quite easily, thanks to the included checkbox selector.

Having selected the preferred notes on the musical scale, as well as their variations, you will be able to easily preview their corresponding values in the main visualizer, and this will indicate the potential scale combinations.

The compatible chords will also be displayed, as well as their corresponding variations. Sadly, there is no way of exporting the resulting data, but I hope that this issue will be addressed in future iterations of the app.

Despite having a modest design, Chords Maker packs simple and practical functionality, offering a straightforward way of visualizing musical scale and piano chord combinations, depending on your specific requirements.
